I wonder to myself; how is it possible for BN to be so short-sighted?
Why would BN rather win a battle and lose the war? The tactics used in trying to take over Perak only paint itself as
7th of May will forever be marked as one of the most unforgettable day in the history of Malaysia- the Black Day of Malaysia. I’m sorry, Tun, but I think your hope that the people have short memory may not materialise after all. It has been 40 years since the “May 13”; yet, the tragedy still lingers in the mind of many, especially those who witnessed it.
The live video recording, photos and reports on how the drama unfolded will always remind us, Malaysians, of how our democracy was raped throughout the three months of political tussle in Perak. Oh, how disgusting and ugly the scenes were. It will forever remind us on how NOT autonomous the police force, judiciary and civil servants had been (The crisis of confidence.)
Why had so many police being deployed on that day?
Why was Wong Chin Huat arrested just for calling people to wear black the day before?. Where was the threat ?
Why were there mass arrests on May 7th? Simply wearing black on that day or having breakfast at the mamak nearby the state secretariat did not warranted an arrest.
Why did the police go into the State Assembly hall and forcefully drag the speaker, YB Sivakumar out?
Why did the Sergeant at Arm refuse to follow the Speaker’s instructions?
Why did the Assembly secretary Abdullah Antong Sabri have the audacity to sign the letter to announce for a State Assembly sitting on May 7th without the consent of the Speaker?
Oh well, maybe only part of the judiciary is independent, since YB Nizar was declared the rightful MB of Perak on May 11th by the Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Datuk Abdul Aziz Abd Rahim . I had initially thought that this might be the best way out for both PR and BN. Maybe.., just maybe… BN has finally come to its senses and realised how much this fiasco had damage its image. However, it can’t seem to see itself as being wrong for starting this whole episode in having Hee Yit Foong, Osman Jailu and Jamaluddin defecting from PR to be BN-friendly. I had thought that the High Court’s judgment was the best way to solve this mess so that a fresh SNAP election could be called to end this shameful episode of power grab.
But how wrong I was. Within the next 24 hours, the scenario had completely reversed. The Court of Appeal judge Datuk Ramli Ali, had granted Zambry a stay of execution of the High Court’s judgement. So, it was back to square one. It was really like a joke, to have one MB who had been declared true by the court, to go to his office, only to be surrounded by many police and FRU trucks, and the next day, was asked to vacate by the BN-elected MB because a stay of execution had been obtained! . This must be a joke for the whole world !
I was so wrong - BN has not learnt its lesson. It continues to self-destruct. Yes, go ahead and continue to wrestle PR for Perak. Go ahead and burn the forest just for a tree. The price will be expensive come the next general election, because the people will not forget what happened on Feb 4th, March 3rd and May 7th.
I was really hoping that our new and seemingly more intelligent PM would be able to show the strength of his character in solving the crisis in time of need, though he seemed to be the one who triggered the crisis, I was hoping that he could at least prove us wrong by making sound actions on this matter….. Now, he seemed to be passing the bug to the “MB”.
This saga has not come to an end as yet. The whole country and the whole world is watching. We are supposed to be a developed nation in not many years to come. I think we’ve been moving backwards instead!

You've heard the saying "Power Corrupts" ,& ,especially when a party has been at it for the pass 50 years eg father to sons, cousins, in laws & schoolmates etc. Rarely, does one relinquish power for whatever reasons, & like you, we are just as baffled at the reckless behaviour & care less attitude shown, however, with or without any kind of agenda or policies, I still strongly believe in 1M'SIA. Why? Its becos there has always been a 1M'sia even before May 13 & Malysians has even matured further & far more educated & knowlegeable. Race & religion has always been used as a security issue to strike fear and, while policies to be designed around it for securing control. And...if you are in control all else will fall into place. Well....people can see through this now though, however, if this dont work, try money!!
I wish 13th GE was tomorrow so that i could go out and vote. Nevertheless, I will bid my time and wait eagerly for it come 2012..

What we are witnessing is the unfolding of God's will.To submit will spare us the umnecessary pain and agony.
Because dear Miss Excuse me, its easier to maintain status quo than to change and do the right thing. A culture that's bred from myopic vision, greed and avarice, hypocritic belligerance, arrogance and self-serving justification and protected by corruption, intimidation and oppression does not have the will nor the resource to do right for the people. Each generation justs gets worse but pride is taken for such deterioration of the human spirit and character.
Everybody thinks , come GE13 it will be easy to vote BN out. Well people, think about it again. The might of BN will make sure that does not happen. My suggestion is to start infiltrating BN and start winning over the MP's.If PR do not start now, BN will eventually bring down the other PR state.Its a matter of time, cos the path has been laid already.

I am not into politics. Dont trust any politicians whether they are in BN or PR. But I think you are cute and hot looking.
I don't disagree with the last comment but it seems to me a little inappropriate.
What happened in Perak is indeed a disgrace but lets hope that the Rakyat will be able to work together for a better Malaysia.
Bn though that by "conquering" back Perak is a great idea and that the people will support it.
It backfired and now it is hard for them to go ahead or to pulls out.
It is bad enough to entice the 3 problematic tainted ADUNs and it got worse when they use the police to forcefully trespass the state assembly arresting the speaker (Siva ) for a few hours and install their own puppet (gane )
They even planned for an Indian to replace another Indian for the speaker post and hopes to get away with that!
The way the appellant court with verdict can be set up in a few hours time is the biggest joke after the Altantuya's trial and Anwar's stained mattress trial.
Years came and gone and the promised PKFZ report is still in a limbo , IPCMC is in a bigger limbo , vkLingam already limbo but the Perak judgment can be made in a few hours time.
i do suspect that vkLingam is very close to that sultan and the court of appeals judges.
It was only a verbal judgment instead of the usual written judgment and unlike the high court's decision which the judge clearly state under which and what clause the high court used to reach the verdict of Nizar is the rightful legal Chief Minister.
Court of appeals better be off consisting of normal citizens as juries than to have high paying golf bag carrying judges.
And now the police wants to seize every single recorded video footage of the Perak zoo fight from the DAP!
