Beng Hock's funeral
"...don't worry about mum and dad, we will take care of them....""... your wife and your child, we will look after them..."
Those were the last few lines from his sister's tribute during the funeral which broke the heart of many who attended the funeral this morning.
The funeral was sad and sombre. Perhaps, the part which angered me was when the reporters kept hoarding in front of Anwar Ibrahim and Chua Jui Meng when they were seated in the front seat, soon after they arrived. I thought that was rather inappropriate of the reporters because the funeral service was ongoing. By doing that, they were actually blocking the guests from seeing others who were called to pay their last respect. It was simply disrespectful to the deceased and the family.
Reporters taking the pictures of the big guns while the funeral service was still ongoing.
At one point, Beng Hock's mum who was seated outside the house, was crying uncontrollably. She kept saying that, she is waiting for his calls, why did he leave so soon. It was really heart-wrenching to see that. I couldn't bring myself to take any photos of that scenes.
As Beng Hock is laid to rest today, I hope that truth and justice about his death will prevail and that his death will not be in vain. I pray that his family and most importantly his fiancée will find strength to go through this trying time. May God's peace be with them.
Belows are some of the pictures from the funeral.

This is Malaysia. And thats the reality.
In 2 weeks, this will blow over and it will be business as usual for BN.
Our Malaysia is gone. Dont dream of changing BN, they will rule for another 50 years.
Ceramahs, candlelight vigils etc aint gonna topple BN.
Wake up to reality ... please
What happened was really sad. Hopefully there will be a Royal Commission of Inquiry and the truth of what transpired can be uncovered.
There are simply too many "holes" in the "explanations" (i rather call them stories) given so far by the authorities. Sigh....

Hmm .. not that long ago, they said the same thing about denying 2/3 majority in Parliament.
Thank you for being concerned and involved.
Let us build a better nation by getting others involved even if it is one person at a time if we have to.
To the nay sayers, and there are always plenty of them, when it comes time to live in a just and prosperous society after our success, maybe by then your eyes will be opened.
Dear Bob K,
Hmmm ... not too long ago PR had Perak.
I say, make your own reality.
Or just bend over.
